Delivery Overview

Here at POW we have a flexible range of delivery options available to suit your personal needs. These various options will affect your delivery times, cost and insurance compensation in the unlikely event that your package is delayed or lost in transit. For simplicity and irrespective of size or value we operate a one time charge per order for deliveries within the UK even if for any reason your order has to be sent in seperate packages, we will notify you if this occurs.

  1. £5.95 per order, irrespective of size or quantity ordered, one time charge.
  2. Delivery days are Monday - Saturday
  3. Requires a signature at the point of delivery
  4. If nobody is present at the delivery address the parcel will be held at the local depot
  5. A card with instructions will be left in place of an un-deliverable parcel
  6. Parcel will be returned to us after 5 full days at the depot with no collection
  7. Proof of postage is available, but not tracked until the point of reciept signature

  2. Signature is required at the point of delivery
  3. If nobody is available for the receipt of order then it will be returned to the local depot
  4. A card will be left for contacting the local depot for collection
  5. If no contact is made within 5 days then the parcel will be returned to us.
  6. Does NOT include delivery to the Highlands and Scottish Isles (Shetlands, Orkney etc)
  7. Lost goods can be claimed for up to a maximum of 28 days after order.
  8. Damaged goods can be claimed for up to 14 days after delivery.

  2. Same rates including VAT rate as standard posting
  3. Parcels cant be tracked further than their delivery to Mill Hill (Forces Post Office)

What Does The Shipping Include?

All items shipped from Party On Warehouse are packaged or boxed as is most appropriate to the order size or shape made. As we are packaging all items HM Customs & Excise advise us that all items including your shipping costs must include VAT at the prevailing rate, all of this costs are included within the total price you see on your basket and on this page.

Lost Goods, Delayed Goods & Damaged Goods

Party On Warehouse is responsible for submitting any claim with regard to lost or delayed goods, however please note the maximum compensations that are noted with each delivery method. Where a compensation price is not noted, this service will not offer compensation. Damaged goods will require photographic evidence supplied to us to be able to handle a claim on your behalf. All parcels that leave POW will have been quality checked and packaged appropriately and in a non-damaged state.

Signing For An Item

All parcels sent by POW will need to have a signature by the recipient or approved alternative. Please ensure you choose a time and destination where this will be possible. You can choose to add detail in at the point of order if you wish to have special instructions added to your order e.g "Please leave with neighbour at number 42"

If You Do Not Collect Or Receive Your Order

After the maximum amount of delivery attempts has been made (differing per type of method chosen but typically 3 attempts) and if nobody claims the parcel, from either the local depot or rearranges for suitable delivery times & destinations, the parcel will be returned to us and we reserve the right to charge an administration fee to cover the return postage costs and general administration. The fee is £8.99.

Upgrading Your Delivery Method

If your order total has a weight of more than 1kg on Royal Mail Recorded or Special Delivery options we reserve the right to upgrade your delivery option to one of our courier options and also ask for additional monies to cover this change. If this is the case we will contact you on the supplied details before commencing.
